Brook
Excellent sexual health, mental health and wellbeing is a right Brook exists to fight for that right and we demand better, especially for young people. We challenge stigma, amplify voices and provide lifelong support that meets the diverse needs of our communities.
ABOUT US:

Founded by Helen Brook in 1964, Brook blazed a trail by empowering unmarried women to take charge of their sexual health at a time when it was deemed controversial. Despite fierce opposition, Helen Brook refused to let stigma stand in the way of what was needed, and continued to provide free contraception and confidential sexual health advice. Today, Brook is proud to continue in her pioneering footsteps by providing high quality, holistic sexual health and wellbeing services that include frontline services as well as education, training and advocacy.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

In 23/24 we worked collaboratively with our service users, sector partners, commissioners, funders and corporates to help 1.32 million people. We have significantly developed our mental health and wellbeing offer and taken huge steps to ensuring our services are accessible and inclusive. As we celebrate our 60th year, we won’t stop fighting until everyone feels safe and empowered to make decisions about their health, their bodies and their identities.
