Day to Day Operations Assistant

The Volunteer Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of Step Ahead Project, assisting with events, coordination, and general organisational tasks to help the organisation run effectively.

What You'll Do: 

Duties:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the operations
  • Assist with planning and coordination of events and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative tasks
  • Be a friendly and approachable presence for staff, volunteers, and families
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and operations

What We're Looking For: 
Requirements / Mandatory Skills: Leadership and team management skills Experience working with children and young people (SEND experience preferred) Strong organisational skills Preferred (but not essential) Skills: DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) First Aid and Safeguarding training Additional SEND-related qualifications
