Early Years Volunteer

Develop your confidence, skills and experience in a safe and fun environment: Volunteers will deliver Early Years Parent-Led Sessions and work alongside the Children’s Centre team to the policies, procedures and culture statement of Stockton Borough Council.The role will include;• Setting up and clearing away of equipment for the session• Liaising with the Children’s Centre Early Years Leader to ensure activities are in line with the Early Language Development Programme and cover all areas of the EYFS• Provide a warm and welcoming environment that local parents will want to attend• Ensuring the health and safety of all those attending the session• Signpost parents to the children’s centre community engagement and outreach team if they need early help servicesGet certificated and accredited qualifications . Gain valuable work experience. Fully supported by mentor Other opportunities include administration and Toy Library.
