To be part of a study that offers quality period products along with menstrual health education can improve wellbeing, attainment, attendance and participation within students and the public (with slightly different measuring tools) who menstruate.

What You'll Do:

You will be provided with workshops from the company TOTM in the different period products that best support a persons menstruational needs and all the logistics around using them. This will give you the tools and knowledge in supporting the delivery of talks to the public via the Newport community hub and focus group meetings to the students within the university.

You will help in organising and deliver the forums for students to answer their questions and concerns around periods and menstruation. Encourage them to sign up to the menstruation education online courses and attend workshops with Endometriosis Hartlepool. Here you and the participants will learn about different health conditions (such as endometriosis, pcos...) that are affected by periods, managing period pain and identifying the differences between period symptoms and undiagnosed health conditions.

You will do data collection through survey links and encourage students to engage as much as they can to empower them with knowledge to support their own menstruation needs or loved ones who struggle.

The study is 12 months and the workshops will run quarterly throughout that time. The focus meetings will be monthly and there will be stalls at events for you to carry out surveys with people.

Why You'll Love It:
You will be empowering people with knowledge that will support their autonomy, increase self-awareness and confidence - forever changing them for the better.
What We're Looking For:
Someone who is inclusive and wanting to create positive change within society.
