Do Good, Feel Good, Neuthread - Mend it, Don't Rag it 19.03.2026
Repair, Reuse, Make a Difference
Our next Do Good, Feel Good event is going to take us over to the Daisy Chain centre in Portrack Lane, Stockton to help with the Neuthread Project.
Spaces are limited due to the session and transport, only 7 students will be allowed to sign up so please only book on if you are committed to joining us on the day.
We will meet at 9:30am at the Student Life Building reception on Thursday 19th March 2026.
Our taxi will depart and we will head over to Daisy Chain.
Our tasks will include:
Sort donated clothing into clear categories.
Repair simple items such as hems, seams, or add buttons.
Adapt or upcycle clothing into new or improved garments.
Use sewing machines or hand-sewing equipment (with support).
Press, finish, and check garments for resale.
Help reduce textile waste and promote sustainable fashion.
Tea and Coffee will be provided but please bring a lunch with you.
We will then leave in the taxi at 2pm and return back to campus for around 2:30pm.
