Hopetown Station Gardening Volunteer

Thursday mornings - 10:00-12:00 from March to July, every 2 weeks.

What You'll Do: 

Work as part of a small gardening volunteer team to maintain and plant the new Hopetown Station Garden at Hopetown Darlington. 

 

  • work alongisde different age groups of volunteers
  • learn ew skills or help others learn about plants, trees and garden wildlife
  • chat to visitors to Hopetown
  • Optional help out at Family craft activities int he garden

What You'll Learn: 
Gardening skills, plant varieties, wildlife species such as bees, moths, butterflies and birds working alongside different generations having the opportunity to inspire other people to get green fingers

enthusiasm and a willingness to learn    Rail fare from Middlesbrough to Darlington provided as well as refreshments
