What You'll Do: 

Department: Fundraising

 

Location:  Guisborough Town Football Club, King George V Stadium, Howlbeck Road, Guisborough TS14 6LE

 

Time Requirement:  Various Dates/Times from Monday 13th April to Sunday 19th April.

Event time 17th-18th April 2025 - Session times 11.00am-5.00pm and 6.30pm -11.00pm

 

DBS Check needed? No

 

Age Requirements: From 18 years old plus

 

Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or lending a hand for the first time, your time can make a real difference to people living with life-limiting illnesses across Teesside.

 

Volunteer Roles Available

  • Welcoming and registering participants

  • Assisting with event set-up and pack-down
  • Manning refreshment stands or stalls
  • Helping with activities and games
  • Guiding guests and providing information
  • Conditioning of Beers

(Don’t worry – full guidance and support will be given!)

 

Time Commitment

We ask for a few hours of your time there are two sessions for this event each day:

1.00pm to 5.00pm and 6.30pm to 11.00pm, but even part of the day helps!

Training requirements:

  • Training and briefing will be provided.
  • Travel expenses can be reimbursed in line with hospice policy.

 

Support and supervision:

Your first line of support and for any enquiries will be Julie Oxley-Hoyle, Community Fundraiser to support you in your role.

 

Communications:

The Julie Oxley-Hoyle will regularly provide you with any information updates, training opportunities and upcoming events appropriate to your role.
