Purpose of Role:To assist staff to enhance the experience of all visitors to Westfield Farm by ensuring consistently high standards of customer care at all times. Tasks: Provide a warm welcome to all visitorsOffer basic orientation, help and information to all visitors.Signpost visitors to appropriate member of staff/ appropriate roomTalking and listening to customers and identifying their needsKeep all leaflet stands and visitor information neat, tidy and up to dateAssisting with signing in and out of visitorsComplete job searches , print out jobs found and ensure job carousel is kept up to dateKeep all notice boards up to date, change as requestedSupport the Co-ordinator of Westfield Farm as requiredCollate data as requestedSending/receiving emailsSignposting to other serviceSetting up of laptops in training rooms as neededIn the absence of a Meet & Greet volunteer you will also be required to:Provide service users with refreshments while using IT suiteAssist with setting up of rooms and activities and tidying away afterwardsReplenish refreshments in Kitchen and training rooms as required and load/unload the dishwasherCore Skills required for post:Good interpersonal skills/ customer care ( e.g. a warm friendly manner/ approachable)Good verbal communication (e.g. giving clear information)Able to work as part of a teamBe able to use own initiative where necessary.Basic computer skillsLevel of commitment required for this post is a minimum of 3 hours – either 8.30am-12.00pm or 12.00pm -3.30 pm
