Commitment: 1 day per week When: All year round Where: Saltholme Region:Northern England Duration: Ongoing Cleveland, County Durham, North Yorkshire Why we want you:We're looking for a team of Nature Activity Leaders to help families to make the most of their visit to Saltholme. You'll spend most of your time outdoors, sharing your love of nature with others by leading activities such as dipping, mini-beast hunting, den building, storytelling and friction fire lighting. What's in it for you:The thrill of catching a newt or seeing a dragonfly for the first time! You'll be part of an enthusiastic team who help families get face-to-face with Saltholme's amazing wildlife. You'll get the chance to meet new people, develop new skills and learn more about wildlife. The skills you need:Enthusiasm, confidence, a love of nature and a sense of fun. Notes:Fun, confident and approachable. There's no need to be a wildlife expert, but enthusiasm for nature is crucial. The role involves walking, being on your feet and general lifting and carrying of equipment (pond nets, insect nets) so a degree of physical fitness is important. Saltholme is a busy place, so you'll need good people stamina.
