What You'll Do: 

We are looking for new Online Shop & eBay Volunteers to join our team at Oxfam Darlington!We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy researching and listing clothing, books, records and bric-a-brac for Oxfam’s online shop and eBay account. If you would enjoy an office-based role as part of a growing e-commerce team, this could be the ideal opportunity for you! The role will involve researching items to determine their sale value, writing descriptions, and using listing tools on the appropriate online sales platform. You may also be asked to help with preparing sold items to despatch, and maintaining the inventory in the online stock room. This role will be ideal for someone who is able to work independently within a large team, has an interest in Online Retailing, has existing basic IT skills and a willingness to learn, is able to use various websites to research the value of items, or is willing to learn, has good attention to detail, and a good standard of written English and is available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week, on a flexible rota. We can offer our volunteers valuable work experience in an office environment, and the opportunity to directly contribute to Oxfam’s mission to achieve a just world without poverty. We can provide references for our team, and we can provide lunches and travel costs in accordance with our expenses policy.
