What You'll Do:

This role would be ideal for someone who is planning a career in teaching and who would like to gain some experience working with children and young people. Reading stories with children once a week plays a vital role in promoting literacy skills and can narrow the attainment gap between migrant children and their peers. Older learners need informal support to keep on track with their homework. So often, poor language proficiency is a barrier to learning. Your help will enable learners keen to do well to understand the tasks set and to work out how to tackle them.
