Assist Women's Network are seeking a volunteer who can give some time every month to helping us with our fantastic podcast. We are an incredibly friendly team, who seek to upskill every volunteer who works with us.

What You'll Do:
  • Record, edit and publish podcasts.
  • Ensure that the podcasts are in line with Assist’s values and are distinctive and differentiated.
  • Bring innovation to the podcasts, with a keen eye on outside influences.
  • Work with other members of the network on how to maximise the effectiveness and have a wide and diverse reach in terms of audience.
  • Understanding audience data.
Why You'll Love It:
Assist Women's Network is a Tees Valley based organisation, set up in 2009, allowing women in business to grow professionally through a strong network of like-minded women. Made up of women from all sectors aged 16+, our team has a clear passion to make a difference for women and young people. Assist is a voluntary organisation, welcoming of all and completely inclusive regardless of an individual's race, nationality, disabilities, sexual preferences, religions and beliefs. We build awareness of business innovations that accelerate women's empowerment and have a real impact on women, families and communities. We are recognised for our openness and honesty, with many connections built through the network developing in to friendships, support groups and collaboration.
What You'll Learn:
As part of our volunteer group, you will have the opportunity to meet with women in business and the professional sectors, sharing and increasing your knowledge, skills and experience. You have the ability to mix within business circles, promoting the advancement of your networking and communications skills, which you can apply academically, personally or within the world of work. Further to this, we encourage the advancement of leadership and entrepreneurial roles, within a diverse setting.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for an individual who can give us some of their time every month, contributing to the key outputs of the network. We are more than happy to upskill and support in personal development, but any prior experience of working on podcasts or a keen interest would be fantastic. We embrace new ideas and are constantly evolving and changing. In the network and in the wider community, we constantly ask, listen and adapt and all we hope for is a better place for all, including the generations that follow us. If you are like minded, we would love to hear from you!
