Volunteer for the Climate Action Middlesbrough project.
As a volunteer for us you have the opportunity to:
•Join one of the Climate Action Middlesbrough Forums (over 25 or under 25) and attend monthly meetings to discuss sustainable living in Middlesbrough.
•Join community driven projects such as litter picking, knowledge awareness days, and C.A.M stall events.
•Become an Eco - Champion Peer Mentor by taking our Peer Mentoring course.
The Peer Mentor course is a Level One Unit, accredited by the One Awards and will be delivered by the Mentor and Community Engagement Officers for Climate Action Middlesbrough, at one of our centres in Middlesbrough, over the course of a few days. The learning outcomes for the course include the following:
1. Understand the role of a mentor.
2. Understand the role of a peer supporter.
3. Understand different support strategies.
4. Understand the purpose of evaluation in mentoring.
Similar Opportunities
To work with children (aged 10-17) who have come to the attention of the criminal justice system on both a statutory (from court) and voluntary (from police) basis.
Production and Logistics volunteers make the Festival run smoothly by getting things in the right places and making venues look good. The next Festival will be 7-9 August 2026.
Stewards help prepare venues for concerts and workshops, manage entry and provide support for audience members, performers and technical staff.
