Hello All,
Would you like to help change the gender diversity gap in tech. We are looking for more instructors to help us teach the next generation of tech leaders in 2022. We welcome instructors from a wide variety of coding backgrounds such as computer science/technical undergraduates/post-graduates, company based professionals with programming experience, freelance developers and university lecturers.
Code First Girls (CFG) is dedicated to transforming technology by providing the skills, space and inspiration for women to become developers and future leaders. They run free coding courses to help women kick-start their career in tech. CFG is running Introduction to Data & SQL Programming, Introduction to Web Development and Introduction to Python & Apps courses online and need your help.
CFG courses run for 8 weeks, one evening a week remotely. Course Details:
Introduction to Web Development - over the 8 weeks, students will learn the fundamental skills of front-end web development, including three dedicated sessions on JavaScript. At the end of the course, learners will be able to build a website from scratch!
Introduction to Python Programming - a beginner-friendly course to help students learn the fundamentals of programming through problem-solving in Python. Students will build and deploy their first web application using this high-level programming language! By the end of the 8-week course, students will be able to successfully demonstrate their understanding of python programming.
Introduction to Data & SQL - SQL is one of the most sought-after skills by hiring employers in the tech world. Students can learn the fundamentals of Data and SQL with CFG, and will learn how to access and work with more data, faster! At the end of the 8-week long course, students will be able to build, deploy and maintain a Database.
