Families and friends, come out and play with the stars in Stewart Park, Middlesbrough after dark this Winter!

What You'll Do: 

What will you be doing?

These are fun, dynamic roles, working with event zone managers to support artists, performers and visitors and interacting with visitors, assisting artists and makers in the running of their workshops.

  • Assisting the event zone managers to communicate information about the event, workshops and artworks to visitors.
  • Responding to the needs of artists and performers and assisting them before and during shows.
  • Encouraging visitors to interact with the artwork or performance where relevant.
  • Being on hand during the event to move between locations as and where required.
  • Scanning and checking tickets using a tablet.
  • Welcoming visitors, answering questions and directing them to entrance points/carparks/loos etc
  • Assisiting with artists' and makers' workshops.
  • Supporting with the preparation of activities.
  • Helping visitors with workshop tasks.
  • Responding warmly to visitors needs, especially to any children and people with additional access requirements..

You can also get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. And you can earn, and take part in, the RSA's wonderful new Badge Nation Award Programme.
What We're Looking For: 
What skills are we looking for? Enthusiasm and a smile. A can-do attitude. Responsiblity and reliability. An interest in the arts, music and outdoor performance. For workshop assistants additional arts and crafts skills are always a bonus Stewart Park is a large site and the event can involve a lot of walking. If you have limited mobility please let us know and we can make sure you are placed accordingly
