Peer Talk Volunteer Facilitators
We are a mental health charity with 4 groups already well-established in the area. We are launching a new group in Thornaby in February.

What You'll Do:
You will facilitate at our meetings in Thornaby-we always have two facilitators at each meeting. Meetings take place at Thornaby Methodist Church every Wednesday from 7.30 to 9 pm.
You will be a good listener and very empathetic.
We don't judge anyone and it is a free service-there is no waiting list!

What We're Looking For:
We are looking for volunteers who can commit for 12 months-attending 4 or 5 meetings on every three month rota.
The sustainability of a PeerTalk Support Group depends on the commitment, personal qualities and enthusiasm of the people who volunteer as Facilitators.

Being a person of integrity.
All Support Group Facilitators will undertake a DBS check and have an appropriate awareness of safeguarding issues related to fulfilling the role.
