Looking for an opportunity to share kindness this summer? If you're 18-35 and would like to support our incredible St Vincent’s Newcastle centre, we're delighted to welcome you to join our SVP 1833 Service Day on 15th June!

What You'll Do:

The day will run from 11:30-4pm with optional 10am Mass and pub trip afterwards. There will be lots of ways to get involved; the garden, making up clothes/food parcels for refugees and asylum seekers , sorting out items for the pop-up market and tidying up the shop and foodbank.

The centre is being very kind to us by opening up on a Saturday, so it would be great to see you there. We understand life gets busy, and you might not be able to stay for the whole day, if you can only come for half of the day or a couple of hours, you are still more than welcome.

Why You'll Love It:
St Vincent’s Newcastle is dedicated supporting members of the community, working with families, refugees and asylum seekers, those facing homelessness and anyone who may need vital practical support. Over 150 free meals all served each week at their Vinnie’s drop-in cafe. The team also runs a series of free-for- all wellbeing activities, every day of the week and a cost-of-living market every Thursday 12:30 to 3:30 offering low-cost groceries, clothing and household goods.
