What You'll Do:
Role Purpose:
- To support service delivery through structured group work sessions to enable access to services and other opportunities.
- To support positive outcomes for children and young people.
Volunteering activities:
- Supporting the delivery of Group Work Activities
- Developing activities that further children and young people’s personal and social development
- Contributing to session planning and evaluations and communicating the needs of young people.
- Volunteering as part of a motivated team of staff to provide group activities to service users.
Volunteering Hours:
- Supporting one project per week for a minimum of 6 months
- Project sessions are typically two hours long scheduled early evenings, weekend and school holiday provision available.
- Volunteers can leave at any time however; volunteers and The Junction Foundation will benefit most from an experience that lasts for 6 months or longer.
