Volunteer as a mentor at Durham Sixth Form Centre to help students achieve academic success. This opportunity can be done remotely or on-site.
As a mentor, you'll work one-on-one or in small groups with Year 12 or 13 students, aiming to help, guide, and support them in achieving academic success in subjects related to your degree or previous A-levels. Your sessions, which can be conducted either on-site or via Google Meet, will involve various forms of support, such as testing their knowledge, assisting with essay planning, offering exam advice, helping structure revision plans, and providing guidance on post-sixth form options.
