The Volunteer Fundraising Administrator Role is to support the fundraising team with administrative support such as producing thank you letters and helping with event administration.

What You'll Do: 

 Volunteer Fundraising Administrator

Department: Fundraising

Location:  410 Linthorpe Road,

Time Requirement:  Flexible to suit you (within office hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)

DBS Check needed? No

Age Requirements: From 18 years old plus

Role Summary: The Volunteer Fundraising Administrator Role is to support the fundraising team with administrative support such as producing thank you letters and helping with event administration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls taking/relaying messages for the team
  • Assist with the production of thank you letters to our supporters
  • Taking post to the Post Office, when appropriate
  • Assist with preparation for events as required
  • Keeping internal information confidential and respecting staff members
  • Conducting research to support the fundraising team
  • Producing
     

What you bring to the role:

  • Ability to work alone and as part of team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Polite and approachable
  • Professional approach
  • Good Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
     

Training requirements:

As a Volunteer Fundraising Administrator, we can offer you:

Support and Supervision:

Your first line of support will be your manager will be a member of the Community and Events Fundraising team

 

Communications:

The Community and Events Fundraisers will regularly provide you with any information updates, training opportunities and upcoming events appropriate to your role.

You will be provided with a Teesside Hospice volunteer badge.
