The KFCYF is seeking dedicated volunteers to make a difference in the lives of children and young people. If you're interested in gaining experience working with youth and creating a positive impact in your community, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do: 

About the Role: We’re currently looking for volunteers to support our Open Access Youth Hub on Monday evenings, from 4pm to 6:30pm and for our Girls Rising Youth Club on Wednesday Evenings, from 4pm to 6:30pm (female volunteers only).  

 

We are also recruiting volunteers to assist with our Holiday Hub programs, which includes themed activities during school half terms.  

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Help organise and lead engaging activities, games, and crafts. 
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with young people and act as a role model.  
  • Create a safe, welcoming environment for young people to feel comfortable.  
  • Ensure that all participants follow the Hub’s rules.  
  • Support the safeguarding of all young people involved.  

 

Who We're Looking For:  

  • Enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with young people and making a difference in the community.  
  • Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personalities.  
  • Reliable volunteers who can commit to Monday evenings.  
  • Volunteers who can travel to Meath Street, Middlesbrough.  
  • Applicants must be 16 years or older.
