With research showing that interacting with animals can have a far-reaching impact on neurodivergent people from boosting mood to reducing feelings of loneliness, our farm and barn have always been at the heart of what we do. Working alongside our experienced team and often with neurodivergent people, in this volunteer role you'll gain valuable placement hours, expand your knowledge, build on your transferable skills and learn directly through lived experience.
Example activities include, but are not limited to: animal handling, grooming and cleaning; enclosure maintenance; general gardening and weeding; painting; animal feeding and food preparation
