Gain valuable placement hours and a huge range of skills by volunteering your time at our farm on a 5.5 acre site in Norton, Stockton on Tees!

What You'll Do:

With research showing that interacting with animals can have a far-reaching impact on neurodivergent people from boosting mood to reducing feelings of loneliness, our farm and barn have always been at the heart of what we do. Working alongside our experienced team and often with neurodivergent people, in this volunteer role you'll gain valuable placement hours, expand your knowledge, build on your transferable skills and learn directly through lived experience.

Example activities include, but are not limited to: animal handling, grooming and cleaning; enclosure maintenance; general gardening and weeding; painting; animal feeding and food preparation

This opportunity is ideal for students looking to fit volunteering around their studies, and we offer flexible hours to suit your timetable.

Ready to gain real-world experience while giving back to a great cause? Apply today to volunteer with Daisy Chain and develop your skills.
