Help us bring the railways to life for our visitors by supporting with the running of passenger trains.

What You'll Do: 

By engaging with visitors whilst they queue you will communicate any information that will help them get the most out of their experience, including guidance regarding ticketing, how to safely board the train and exit the platform.  

 

Acting as the interface between our Operations team and the train crew, you will be involved in delivering one of the most popular attractions at the museum.  

 

In this role you’ll:  

  • Assist the train crew in preparing for passenger train rides 
  • Engage with and assist passengers to enhance their experience 
  • Check tickets and communicate to visitors how/where tickets can be purchased 
  • Liaise with the Operations team to attend to the needs of all prospective passengers  
  • Liaise with the train crew to help board and disembark passengers safely 
  • Help maintain a safe working and passenger environment
