A volunteering opportunity full of inspiration, action and great food!

On the 5th June 2025 Good Food Middlesbrough is presenting "Beyond Gold" and have asked for your help to host the day.

What You'll Do: 

The day will consist of guest speakers, dynamic workshops that will be shaping the future of local food systems. 

 

The volunteer coordinator at Middlesbrough Environment City will be allocating tasks to the volunteers on the day which will be things like be not exhaustive to: meeting and greeting attendees, showing people around, helping on stalls and in workshops, keeping the areas well maintained. 

 

The volunteering team will be in attendance and volunteering to so we will be here to support you every step of the way. 

 

We will meet at the Student Life Building at 9:30am and then walk to Middlesbrough Town Hall. We will spend the day volunteering which will finish at 4pm. 

 

A lunch will be provided at the event. 

 

Why You'll Love It: 
You might be new to volunteering or been doing it for a while, but this will be a great chance to meet new people and volunteer with the volunteering team whilst giving something back to the community.    It will be a great chance to network with people at this vibrant day of connection, creativity and collaboration. You will hear from inspiring speakers and be part of interactive workshops. The day will be a celebration and by volunteering at the event you will be part of something great.     
What You'll Learn: 
You will learn about food sustainability.    Networking and communication, alongwith teamwork and engagment.

A committment to the day, enthusiam and willingness to take part in the tasks set by the volunteer coordinator.    A welcoming, approachable person who will make people's experience at the event one to remember.
