We are a community charity based in Middlesbrough. We offer support to people within the community around skills and career planning, learning, wellbeing, digital support and we have a popular on site cafe.

Hope is about giving people hope, for now and for the future. We aim to empower people to help them make their lives better.
We provide opportunities for learning. We work with Middlesbrough College to deliver foundation, level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications in English, Maths and Science. These are delivered by trained tutors on site.
We have a digital library and provide support for those people who are struggling using technology.
Our on site Careers adviser provides support for those seeking work and qualifications. Clear career pathways are produced for those service users seeking help.
We hold several community events and activities on and off site which aim to bring people together, to find friendship and build community.
Our on site cafe provides delicious and good priced meals throughout the day.
We provide opportunities for volunteers.
We look for people to help us to provide support for our inclusive community.
Those who help in our support need to be honest, proactive and able to be flexible.
Above all we need people to be willing to go the extra mile and to be understanding and patient.
We are a small community which consists of a small number of staff. We provide a family atmosphere for all, staff, volunteers and service users.
Our Opportunities
The Hope Foundation, Middlesbrough, is looking for Energy Buddy Volunteers to help support the needs of people within our community. It will involve offering awareness and guidance around energy.
