On Wednesday 23 October, we held a £1 Clothing Sale in the Student Life Building in line with the Sustainable Futures Strategy and the cost of living crisis. We had a steady flow of customers throughout the day, both students and staff and made £248 which we have donated to one of our charities that we support, RDA Unicorn Centre https://www.rdaunicorncentre.co.uk/
Thanks to all of the staff who made donations of clothing, shoes and accessories and to all of our lovely customers who supported the sale. Big thanks to our student volunteers Vincent, Bex, Elina, Juyveeria and Jacinta who helped us to sort, size, label and sell the clothes.
On the back of the success of the sale, we are planning another £1 Clothing Sale at the beginnng of December - further information to follow
