Volun-cheers Awards 2025
We are currently working on the final touches for the Volun-cheers awards on Thursday 8th May. Certificates have been printed, speeches written, and table plans have been set. We are very much looking forward to an evening of celebration and recognising our students for the amazing contribution they have made to the community. The independent judging panel certainly had a tough decision for our special recognition categories.
Do Good, Feel Good
We have two Do Good, Feel Good Events coming up and would love for you to join us. These events are volunteering alongside the volunteering team, and both give back to the community.
Daisy Chain Megastore Volunteering Day, 23.05.25. This is a great chance to develop your communication and interpersonal skills. You can find all the details for this event here. Places for the event are limited so don’t delay if you are interested.
Community Litter Pick with Middlesbrough Council, 26.06.25. Join likeminded people and let’s help to #KeepBoroTidy. The last litter pick was a great success so we thought, lets do it again! Click here for more details.

You will work as a social prescriber working one to one with students online signposting them to activities and services that support their wellbeing. This role is aimed at students studying a degree in Psychology (under or post-grad level).
We are looking for volunteers to work alongside a Lead Youth Worker on our HAF young inspectors programme, funded by Middlesbrough Council. You will help to train young people to become young inspectors and also be a part of the inspections.
