Did you know, over the last three years, our amazing Teesside University volunteers have recorded a staggering 30,160 hours of volunteering, enriching the community and place where we live…WOW!

Volun-Cheers Awards 2025
We are still on a high from the evening of celebration for the volun-cheers awards 2025. Individuals and groups were recognised for their significant contributions to volunteering and there were also awards for mentors and organisations which provide valuable support and experience. Certificates were presented to our amazing volunteers, ranging from bronze to platinum, in addition, we also presented 11 special recognition awards. Congratulations to all our volunteers! Do Good, Feel Good

As part of the Student Futures wider team, staff are available to talk to during the drop-in hours of 12-2pm Monday to Friday. Don’t forget, if you are graduating, change your email on the platform to your personal one so you can continue to record your hours.

Roseberry Community Consortium has been established for 17 years. We have many projects, without dedicated volunteers we are unable to deliver our weekly schedule of projects.
Act as an Appropriate Adult for people with mental health needs and/or learning disabilities and other vulnerabilities who are being detained in custody, ensuring fair treatment in accordance with PACE guidelines / legislation 1984.
Independent Visitors are matched with a child in care based on location, age, and interests. Visits happen every 3–4 weeks, building a unique, trusted relationship over 2 years.
