Community Champions are adults from culturally diverse communities who have completed free of charge training to build their skills, knowledge and confidence.

The training has been designed to allow adults to then feel confident with support, to lead their own visits to the North York Moors and to create networks with local National Park communities, staff and other community champion participants.

Participants will:

  • Enjoy guided walks
  • Inspire activities and events you would like to do in the National Park
  • Learn new skills and inspire others to enjoy the beauty of the National Park
  • Meet like-minded people.
