Welcome to the June Newsletter. June celebrates National Volunteers Week, an annual UK-wide campaign that recognises the contributions of our volunteers. Did you know, over the last three years, our amazing Teesside University volunteers have recorded a staggering 30,160 hours of volunteering, enriching the community and place where we live…WOW!

Volun-Cheers Awards 2025
We are still on a high from the evening of celebration for the volun-cheers awards 2025. Individuals and groups were recognised for their significant contributions to volunteering and there were also awards for mentors and organisations which provide valuable support and experience. Certificates were presented to our amazing volunteers, ranging from bronze to platinum, in addition, we also presented 11 special recognition awards. Congratulations to all our volunteers! Do Good, Feel Good

As part of the Student Futures wider team, staff are available to talk to during the drop-in hours of 12-2pm Monday to Friday.
