You will support the personal, social & educational development of young people aged 10-18 in a youth club environment.

What You'll Do:

As a volunteer with Linx, you’ll play a key role in engaging with young people across Middlesbrough through both outreach and centre-based activities. You’ll help deliver exciting new projects, working closely with staff to shape the future of youth initiatives. You’ll support young people in becoming active members, empowering them to contribute as volunteers and peer mentors, and be a positive role model in the community. Your work will promote equality, challenge discrimination, and encourage positive behaviour. Safeguarding and personal development are at the core of this role, with ongoing training to help you grow professionally. With a passion for making a difference, you’ll be part of a dynamic team driving real change in the lives of young people.

The role you undertake at the youth clubs can be directly reflective of your unique skill set, whether in research and data collection, delivering engaging activities, or creating marketing and media resources. If you possess specialised skills or talents, the Project Support Officer will work closely with you to develop a tailored volunteering programme that can maximise your contributions. This personalised approach ensures that your expertise not only enhances the impact of the youth club but also supports the wider goals of the organisation, offering a fulfilling and dynamic volunteer experience.
